REGISTRATION Check-in: from 2.00 pm Check-out: by 10.00 am Upon request, it is possible to check in and check out outside the indicated times. CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: In the interest of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government-issued identification (driver's license, passport, state ID, etc.) at check-in. MINORS UNDER 18 YEARS The restrictive self-regulation code in defense of minors adopted by the Management of the Relais Borgo Poggetello provides that guests under 18 are admitted only if accompanied by a parent or authorized guardian. If accompanied by an adult other than the parent, it is necessary for the latter to present the written consent of one of the minor's parents upon receipt together with the parent's identity document or a copy thereof. Parents and any guardians, regardless of the age of the minor, are asked to communicate the presence of the minor when booking the room, to avoid any possible mix-ups. From the age of 16, minors are assimilated to adults for everything relating to tariffs. ADDITIONAL COTS: A limited number of baby cots are available on request. When booking it is possible to request an extra cot. PETS As part of our commitment to providing the highest level of service to our guests, we are happy to welcome dogs and cats, if well behaved and capable of living indoors, following their owners. Pet owners will be required to respect fundamental guidelines to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests of the Relais. In particular, under no circumstances will animals be allowed in the indoor rooms of the Relais restaurant. Inside the property, your pet can follow you everywhere under your loving guidance, on a leash. In the garden of the Relais, if you are not equipped, you will find bags for toiletries and bowls for water and food. Upon request it is possible to provide meals for your four-legged friends. BEHAVIOR In order to guarantee the decorum and privacy of guests and based on current Italian laws, Relais customers are required to access the common areas of the Relais appropriately dressed. SMOKING According to Italian law, smoking is not permitted in the rooms and common areas of the Relais. However, we do have dedicated smoking areas. The exception on the above policy applies to rooms with a terrace. In this room type smoking is allowed on the terrace. QUIET HOURS: From 10pm to 9am and from 2pm to 4pm. Televisions, voices or other devices must be kept at a respectful level at all times. LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES POLICY: Please be aware that it is dangerous to cover lamps or other electrical appliances. This could cause the object used to overheat and start a fire. Therefore it is not permitted to cover lamps, TVs, water boilers, stoves and radiators using towels, wigs, clothing or other objects. ROOM: It is not permitted to move or remove furniture. It is also not permitted to move or remove decorations or electrical appliances, or use them for personal purposes other than those for which they are intended. NO ROOM PARTIES: Relais Borgo Poggetello does not allow the organization of any in-room parties. No loud or annoying noise is allowed or tolerated in these rooms. In case of disturbance, a warning will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not granted, the guest will be asked to leave the Relais without any refund. Parties are allowed in the Relais garden. Registered guests are responsible for all people who visit the Relais. FIREARMS AND WEAPONS: The safety of our guests and staff is extremely important to us. Our Firearms Policy is designed for the protection of our guests, vendors, staff and owners and covers the prohibition of firearms and weapons on hotel premises. Guests and suppliers who do not comply with our policy may be asked to leave the hotel premises, are subject to violating the law and may be subject to further legal action. Exempt from this policy are law enforcement officers and designated military personnel when on duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties. No exemptions to this policy are permitted for private persons, even those authorized to carry a firearm openly or concealed under local, state or federal law. Our policy is to promptly turn over firearms left on the property to the Police Department if we are unable to contact the owner. DAMAGES, THEFT AND CARELESSNESS The guest who causes damage or theft to the structure or to the objects contained in the room and in the common areas will be required to pay the Relais an amount equivalent to the replacement of the damaged or stolen object, plus any shipping, handling and ancillary costs. The guest releases the Management from any civil and criminal liability deriving from improper or unauthorized use of the premises, equipment and services of the Relais, DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF RELAIS PROPERTY DISCOVERED AFTER CHECK-OUT:. If this damage or theft comes to light after the guest's departure, Relais Borgo Poggetello reserves the right to charge the credit or debit card for the expenses incurred, including fine for smoking in non-designated areas, cleaning fee, compensation for guests, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally before contacting a specialist to carry out repairs, and will therefore make every effort to keep any costs the guest would incur to a minimum. CARE AFTER CHECK-OUT: Rooms found with rubbish scattered around or in complete disarray and deep dirt will be subject to an additional fee of €50 as a deep cleaning fee. DAMAGE TO MATTRESSES AND LINENS: Damage to mattresses and linens including: towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads and blankets, resulting from the use of body oils, makeup, blood, etc. will incur a charge for special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged item. DAMAGE TO OR INTERFERENCE WITH THE FIRE-FIGHTING SYSTEM/FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT AND SECURITY SYSTEMS: The Relais Borgo Poggetello reserves the right to take action against any guest or visitor who has damaged or interfered with any detection device throughout the Relais, including sensors in public areas, guest rooms, fire hydrants or fire extinguishers, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Guests or visitors who have tampered with the alarm equipment will be charged with all costs incurred by the Relais due to their actions and will be expelled from the hotel. Depending on the severity of the guests' actions, law enforcement may be involved at the discretion of the Relais. If tampered with fire or detection equipment comes to light after the guest's departure, the Relais reserves the right to charge for any damage suffered. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE: Relais Borgo Poggetello is privately owned. Relais Borgo Poggetello will refuse to offer the accommodation service or the guest will be expelled from the Relais, without refund, if he refuses to respect the policies established by Italian law and by the Relais itself for the operation and management of the latter. Relais Borgo Poggetello will deny service or expel a guest for: refusal or non-payment of accommodation, for using the Relais for illegal purposes, anyone who tries to bring explosive or dangerous substances, toxic substances or any object that is illegal into the Relais. POLICY FOR LOST ITEMS: Relais Borgo Poggetello assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged valuables or objects. If you discover that you have left something of value behind, please contact us immediately and we will try to help you locate the lost item. RETURN: We would be happy to return your lost item if you arrange a delivery service. Hotel Prestige is not responsible for any items lost or misdirected during shipment by the postal service and would not pay for any shipping. LINE CHANGE: Your comfort is very important to us. For guests staying multiple nights, bed linen and towels are changed every 4 days. Please contact our front desk staff if you have any further questions or concerns. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS For all terms and conditions not expressly listed in this policy, such as, for example, particular treatments etc., what is stated in the booking confirmation applies, which represents the only indispensable document for the use of all services booked.
