A Center in the Center
The Borgo Poggetello Association is the evolution of an idea born in 2016. An idea of redevelopment and renewal, physical and cultural, of the small village of Poggetello. The aim was to reinvent and reuse its historical contents, to model the sites of memory in a new form, in order to increase the environmental, social and cultural quality through the intervention by parts.
WHAT WE GO TO
• Develop potential and enhance local resources and typical products, giving shape and image to places, food and wine, traditions and art.
• Consolidate and increase the share capital through a physical transformation of a system of public and private places that are regenerated to new life.
• Create a community rooted in the past and projected into the future, where physical, social, artistic and cultural integration becomes the fulcrum of a new dialogue.
WHAT DO WE DO
• We offer a residency to all artists looking for a physical and spiritual place to stay, work and exchange ideas.
• We organize cultural events, courses and urban redevelopment projects.
• We offer members the opportunity to use the association places for cultural and recreational purposes.
