It is the “wild” side of the Race Across Italy, which will also take you along some of the ancient consular routes.
Inspired by the Roman Empire, with a route of approximately 915 km and a D+ of approximately 13,000 m, 70% offroad, it is a Gravel bikepacking event where you will imagine going to conquer Rome and then returning to the starting point.
The track starts from Silvi Marina, crosses 3 Regions, 4 National Parks, and 2 times in the Apennines to touch both the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Adriatic Sea; a unique coast to coast in the heart of Italy.
Along the Empire Lands route, you will discover some historic routes (such as the Via Appia and the Via Francigena), wonderful landscapes in remote mountain areas, historic villages, the breathtaking colors of the Trabocchi Coast, ancient cities with thousands of years of history and Then…. Rome is Rome!

Most of the accommodations at the Relais are located in structures with stairs without a lift, therefore they are not suitable for people with motor disabilities In addition, the village is characterized by many pedestrian streets therefore it is not possible to reach the various accommodations by car. The nearest parking is located 50 meters from the house. If you have any needs with luggage, contact us and we will transport them to your accommodation. In addition, being a mountain town, it is characterized by ups and downs. Smoking is not allowed inside the accommodations. You will find dedicated smoking areas. Our V.I.P. Friends (Very Important Pets) are allowed. The Parties are only allowed in the garden.
